OrgMap presents MODAVIS material in a fast read-only form designed for enthusiasts and curious visitors, while the research corpus remains unchanged.
Separate intake
Contributions never write into MODAVIS epochs, actions, receipts, or canonical results. Metadata and untrusted files live in isolated OrgMap intake storage.
Location privacy
Coordinates sent to OrgMap are used transiently to rank results and are not stored. Place searches are cached without user identity; map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap.
No invented geography
Current exact and fallback markers, historical markers, and no-marker records preserve their Release 1.3 semantics. Historical coordinates never enter present-day nearby results.
